SonicWALL’s Client Server Anti-Virus Suite combines the SonicWALL Enforced Client service with advanced Server-based anti-virus protection, through the addition of McAfee's VirusScan Enterprise for Windows, NetShield for Novell servers, and GroupShield for Exchange anti-virus protection for Windows-based File, Print, and Exchange servers.

This service provides all of the features and benefits of SonicWALL’s Enforced Client service (outlined above), plus the most advanced protection available for all your Windows-based servers. The additional features & benefits of SonicWALL’s Client/Server Anti-Virus Suite are as follows:

AUTOMATIC UPDATES
SonicWALL automates deployment of anti-virus signature and software updates for all server products, ensuring that every servers has the latest software and signatures as soon as they are available. There is no time-consuming manual intervention required, no software to download, not websites to check. It all happens automatically, day or night. Protection is delivered faster, and there is therefore less chance of a new, "zero-day" virus getting through because a server’s virus signatures or software are not up-to-date.

LAYERED PROTECTION
SonicWALL’s Client/Server service is part of SonicWALL’s layered approach to security. This approach ensures that every touch point is protected: Gateways, Servers, and Workstations.
