Connect 2.5” and 3.5” hard drives Thanks to the included 12 V wall adapter, this adapter can handle 2.5” and 3.5“ SATA and IDE hard drives. Simply connect the extra power adapter when plugging in a 3.5” SATA Hard Disk Drive to make sure it receives enough power to run. Copy your files at lightning speed The 2-in1 adapter supports SuperSpeed USB 3.0 transfer rates of up 5 Gbps and lets you transfer and copy files 10 times faster than with Hi-Speed USB 2.0, ideal for transferring large files such as HD movies, music collections and vacation images. Up & running immediately The 2-in1 adapter is fully Plug & Play out of the box and backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. Simply connect your hard drive to the adapter and use the included USB 3.0 cable to connect it to a free USB 3.0 port of your computer, no drivers needed. Use the external power adapter if you connect a 3.5” hard drive. The adapter is compatible with all operating systems.
